We often find children with illness or injury simply too complicated for us to treat with local help in Bolivia or on a regular medical mission. Through the Children's Bridge we arrange to either bring these children to a more medically advanced country for help or bring a highly specialized team to Bolivia to treat them.

We brought Magdalena and her mother, Hilda, (pictured above) to the U.S. in 2008 to be treated at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles through the generosity of their International Craniofacial Children’s Fund. In their own words, they tell their story...
