Sat, Sept. 22nd: Travel Day to Bolivia
Sun, Sept. 23rd - Tues, Sept. 25th: La Paz
Visit the breathtaking city of La Paz, high in the Andes. In this vibrant cultural mecca, explore the “Witches’ street” where medicinal potions are sold alongside traditional art and jewelry, see an ancient Andean dance and music performance, and visit with a former Senator to hear her take on Bolivian politics. In Achacachi, visit the humble home of one of our patients, Magdalena, and the stunning Lake Titicaca.
Wed, Sept. 26th - Sat, Sept. 29th: Cochabamba
Join the action with our multi-specialty medical mission team. Visit clinics and get to know our patients. For the strong of stomach - suit up and join us in the operating room for a once in a lifetime chance to observe a surgery.
Get to know our year-round programs - pacemaker, open heart, and general surgery. Tour our Fair Trade sewing cooperatives. Join us for a “Feria del Corazón” party to mingle with patients and hear their testimonies. Mix with the locals in Bolivia’s biggest market where they sell everything, from folk art to live goats!
